——记著名急诊超声专家Dr. Ray Wiss讲座

应广西糖尿病系统医学重点实验室主任赵海潞教授邀请，国际著名急诊超声专家Dr. Ray Wiss教授于2019年春，来到欧洲杯压住平台给广大师生及附院、人民医院医生做了关于急诊超声诊断和急诊人文医学专题的精彩报告。

Dr. Wiss从事急诊医学25年，是国际上首位将超声应用于急救医学的大夫。Dr. Wiss强调，无论超声，还是CT、MRI等影像设备，仅仅是体检的一个工具。真正能做出判断的是临证的医生，医生才是急诊室里最重要的人。只有身心健全、善于自救的医生，才能真正做到救死扶伤，避免盲人摸象。

Dr. Wiss现场展示了四个问题和四个不可思议的答案：

• Do we need do a diagnosis?——No. All patients actually care more for prognosis rather than diagnosis. Diagnosis could not end patient's anxiety and suffering.

• Should we need give them what they want?——No. The best medicine is to reassure patients that nothing is bad.

• Curing the patient is the most important think?——No. The great doctor is being the unconditionally loving light ——like a torch or candle, helping patients help themselves.

• Is the patient the most important person in the emergency room?——No. The doctor is the most important person. No one can save us but ourselves.

主题演讲嘉宾——Prof Ray Wiss

1. 1982年以优异成绩获得加拿大健康教育本科学历；

2. 1993年获得McMaster大学医学博士；

3. 1997年获得著名McGill大学颁发的急诊医学专家证书；

4. 至今，PROF WISS及其所在的Northern Ontario School of Medicine，已经为加拿大培养了超过15000名医生，主要是使用超声的急诊科医生；

5. 创立了加拿大超声急诊医学会（the Canadian Emergency Ultrasound Society）；

6. 曾经2次参加阿富汗反恐怖主义战争，出版了2本畅销书:（1）FOB Doc；（2）A Line in the Sand；一本超声专著：Essentials of Point-of-Care Ultrasound. The EDE（Emergency Department Echo）Book，被赞誉为“The clearest and most concise approach to point-of-care ultrasound”；

7. Prof Wiss是位及其难得的trilingualist，熟练精通三种语言：ENGLISH、FRENCH、SPANISH，目前正在桂林学习汉语；

8. Prof Wiss的兴趣是极限探险：曾经多次攀登巍巍高峰，最高超过7000米；也曾作为船长，多次远征浩瀚海洋。

赵国军博士总结发言

欧洲杯压住平台科技处副处长赵国军博士对此次报告进行总结发言：他首先感谢Wiss教授做了一场深入浅出的精彩报告。通过介绍急诊超声的应用，Wiss教授让大家了解了急诊超声的实用性、明白了急诊超声的三个益处、六个重要基本原则。通过讲解急救医学的艺术，Wiss教授告诉急救医生不要急着下诊断，而是要排除那些危急生命的疾病，提醒在场的急诊科医生不要滥用新的诊断技术，要明白急诊室里最重要的人是急诊医生自己。Wiss教授还以现场修改SCI文章为例，讲解了医学论文写作的技巧和写作的语言艺术。赵国军博士表示，Wiss教授渊博的专业知识，耐心细致、幽默风趣的讲解风格让在场的各位受益匪浅，这是一场非常实用而有意义的讲座。
